SAB FILE: SKINWALKER

    A video goes viral - a deer, standing on its hind legs, seemingly eating a stray dog. The footage is from a grainy security cam, but it's enough to send us in to investigate a small Washington town.

 

    Our Intel Team - myself, Daniels, Jones, and Herrera - were sent in covertly to determine the legitimacy of the claims. Turns out, it wasn't just one stray. Local pets and livestock have all been found disemboweled, and there's been a strange pattern of residents disappearing for several days at a time before returning.

 

    None of this has gotten a response from the local law enforcement. In fact, they write these claims off as a non-issue, however we were warned - sternly - to avoid the woods east of town. All the pieces aligned for us, we had to keep our composure, we couldn't let them know we knew.

 

    At dusk we set out into the woods, unusual tracks littered the dirt and leaves. Varying foot prints matching animals, humans, and them. From about 50 meters away we saw something, a pale body, hunched over and convulsing, Its form rapidly changing.

 

    As we came up behind it, it noticed us - thrashing its body, it knocked me to the ground. Its half-transformed body then clambered towards me, I jammed my boot against it to hold it back while I drew my sidearm and neutralized the SAB - this was all the evidence we needed.

 

    I triggered our transponder for the QRF squads, we estimated at least 60% of the town's residence had been replaced. We made our way to our vehicle, kitted up, and prepared to fight our way out of the town.
