SAB FILE 2272: THE VEIL PT IV

    We had presumed “The Veil” sealed after collapsing the cave system upon it deep within central China. However, after the security breach with SAB 2272 in The Vault, an emergent anomaly was detected in Argentina.

    Task Force Comanche dispatched a squad along with the Containment Team to validate the temporal signature as The Veil. Comanche entered the structure to the sound of a low humming to discover a spherical energy formation. The space around it warped, almost appearing flat, as it reacted to their presence.

    The Containment Team set up Inhibitors - a spear like apparatus used as a pseudo cage for temporal anomalies. Their orders specified 10 meters, any closer and they’d be drawn into The Veil. Upon activation, The Veil began to emit energy violently as it began to condense - until it formed a solid, pitch black solid sphere.

    Further analysis is needed to determine if it is currently in an incubative state, and it risks emergence. Little is known in regards to SAB 2272 apart from our direct interactions, it could take hundreds of years before it is able to manifest again. The Veil is to be remained secured within The Vault, for now.
